Project Name: Cellular Chamber for Vascularized Scaffold of Tissue Engineered Solid Organs

Current status of project: Little preliminary work has been completed. Waiting for the project to be approved.
Work completed in the last week: Started fooling around with SolidWorks. Found a paper about membrane pore cross-section affecting pressure differential across the membrane.
Work planned for next week: Meet with our mentor. Research the current state of the art; i.e. find publications related to microfluidic transport and diffusion of biological molecules across PC membranes and PTFE membranes. Decide which software we will use (SolidWorks, COMSOL, or FLUENT).
Anything needed from mentor/client or TA or instructor to continue work: Not currently.
